Jetty developers have been working hard to keep Jetty a secure and up-to-date digital toolkit for crisis communications.
Updates are part of our constant progress in making Jetty more intuitive and easy to use. Our system updates ensure that Jetty is fast, reliable, secure and globally accessible. Updates to our system’s core components ensures that they take advantage of a high-performance security perimeter that guards against multiple types of attacks including network and application layer DDoS attacks.
“Library” is now “Templates”
Pre-developed inquiry responses, talking points, template documents and other content has always been a part of Jetty, now the name does a better job of matching the function. Next time you log into Jetty you’ll see Templates in place of Library.
WebIAP Integrations
Get the latest information from response operators who are using Incident Action Plan (IAP) Software™ with integrated connections.
Password Resets
The “Generate Password” button in the User Profile screen has been updated to “Set New Password”. Users now have access to a “Send Reset Link” to help others with password resets.
A new button has been added to the User Profile screen to send a password reset email directly to the user. This will send a password reset email with the link to reset the user password from the site.
Forms
We have changed the look of Forms and you should notice a more fluid experience.
- When clicking on a field, the expanded details and options for the field will appear in the right-hand sidebar.
- The Update and Preview buttons have been moved to the top right of the Forms system header, making it easier to update longer forms without having to scroll the entire form to do so.
- Form Settings and Entries can now be accessed when editing the form by clicking the new Settings or Entries buttons in the Forms system header.
Forms created before the update should continue to operate as designed.
Internet Explorer
As a result of platform updates, we will be sunsetting support for Internet Explorer 11 and all previous versions of Internet Explorer. You may still use this browser for signing in and performing activities within Jetty, however, we are unable to guarantee functionality within the platform when using these browsers and will no longer provide support for issues related to known bugs with Internet Explorer browsers. An alert banner will display for logged in Jetty users if they are using the unsupported browser.
Site visitors (ie: those who visit the Public-facing Jetty site) will not be presented with an alert and will be able to navigate and browse the site as normal.
Thank you for your continued support of our platform as we continue to work hard to make it better for everyone.
